Characteristics
of the farm

Bernard has been rearing Label Rouge free-range poultry in the Landes since 1979, and is one of the 4 founding partners of a family-run joint venture.

His bare-neck chickens are reared in the traditional way, spending their days free-range in the open air, in the middle of the forest. They take shelter at night in huts set up among the trees. They are fed with maize grown on the farm.

Being a Label Rouge poultry farmer is much more than a job, it's a permanent commitment to sustainable agriculture and quality food. On a daily basis, we take care of our poultry and raise them in the open air, in strict compliance with animal welfare, the environment and the production conditions set out in the Label Rouge specifications.
